Russo, visibly upset, answered a question about his team's performance and the game's development. "You have to analyze it well. Why do you think Boca didn't play well today?" questioned the journalist present at the conference.
In response to this question, the coach did not hesitate to express his annoyance: "We didn't play poorly!". However, after a brief pause, the coach ended up smiling, showing a degree of discomfort with the situation.
"I'm worried, I didn't sleep well last night, I didn't think about what you saw (referring to the journalist). I'm concerned about more important things," Russo added, trying to bring the awkward situation to an end with a touch of humor.
The draw with Deportivo Riestra left mixed feelings in the Boca Juniors coach, who will have to work on correcting aspects of his team's play in preparation for upcoming commitments.
